Brother, Can you spare a Pathfinder?

I chose to create a pathfinder on 1930s America. I modeled my pathfinder after the one in class that was about a particular country. I thought that if you could make a pathfinder for a country, then surely, you could make a pathfinder for a decade. Space and time are the same after all, right?

In another life, had I become a history teacher, I would love to make pathfinders for every decade in American history. I think it would be a great way to engage students who are studying for AP exams. It also would be a great tool for homework. In fact, you could easily use it to create a “flipped classroom” experience. A teacher could assign either a column or a specific block, or even say “explore 2 blocks from each section,” and then discuss what they learned in class.

I liked that the pathfinder was more focused than the original curation assignment we did at the beginning of the year. I found that I felt more confident.
